Mental Workouts

Mental workouts are extremely important to our overall wellness. To achieve overall wellness we must be sound physically and mentally. Mental workouts can help us to alleviate stress and reduce our risk of developing diseases related to stress. Working on our mental fitness can also help us develop our consciousness and the healing aspects of our consciousness. I am going to try to take some time everyday to improve upon my mental fitness and see how it helps me in the long run.

  1. I need all the stress refief I can get! I agree this daily workout will help. I have considered trying this activity as I walk around the block. I wonder if I would trip and fall while I was concentrating probable HUh? I think I will continue to do both and practice daily to improve my stamina in both mental and physical fitness.

  2. Hi Kevin,

The mental workout activity is a little difficult at times when we are rushed for time or have other things on our mind. Best to pick a time of day to practice when things are not so rushed like early mornings or late in the evenings. We may be able to get a good night's sleep in conducting this activity right before bed time. Just think of how calm and relaxed you will feel with nothing on your mind by retraining your thought process. Good luck with the activity.
